How Does A Chemical Barrier Treatment Work ?
Here at Bi-State Termite and Pest Control we use Non-Repellent chemicals to provide our Liquid Chemical Barriers. Non-Repellent Liquid Chemical Barriers work by killing subterranean termites and eliminating the entire colony. The termites borough through the treated soil exposing themselves to the chemical which kills them slowly allowing time for the chemical to spread form one termite to another in order to achieve complete colony eradication.
Non-Repellent chemicals - the newest and the most advanced liquid barrier chemical treatments - are designed to be totally non-repellent to subterranean termites. This non-repellency factor is a great attribute in subterranean termite control.

What Steps Are Involved In A Liquid Chemical Barrier Treatment?
Liquid termiticides are usually applied completely around and underneath a structure covering all areas where termites might gain access. For new construction, this is accomplished by treating the graded soil and foundation walls before the slab is poured. For an existing building, the perimeter of the foundation where there are concrete slabs are drilled, along with the perimeter of any attached garages, then the entire perimeter of the structure is treated with termiticide. This results in a chemical barrier between the termites in the soil and the structure above.

Does A Liquid Chemical Barrier Treatment Come With A Warranty?
YES!  We guarantee our work for one year after the treatment with an optional annual warranty renewal after the first year which includes a free basic exterior pest control and inspection to determine if any termites have reinfested your structure.  If at any time between the warranty renewals termites should happen reinfest your structure, we will retreat the affected area at no additional cost.
